Caroline Rae Robinson is an artist, illustrator and printmaker from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She graduated with a BFA in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2016.

In her body of work, she focuses on the relationship between gender and mental illness, and how social implications of physical self hood influence emotional wellbeing.

Through the exploration of abject "femininity" she aims to question socially enforced objectification of female bodies, playing off of fears of physical and psychological excess.

Her narratives ruminate on the psychological repercussions of self-loathing and self-preservation, while creating a new language and symbology as a mechanism for coping, where both systematic objectification and self-objectification work in tandem.
